Blackest
Once Upon the Blackest Night
There in waiting twisted tight
Lighting snaps and thunder claps
Hissing from plutonian shadows back arched tight an old black cat
Stirred the raven croaks and midnight's chill
Blinding madness a cobweb strewn and empty attic
Blackest nightmare of daydreams ending
Silent laughter ever echos through the old stone halls
A fading image distorted rotting
Blackest memories and pleasant days never lasting
Dusty lace drapes decaying tables and lifeless flowers petals scattering
On barren ground she kneels down
Empty fields that hold no hope
A harvest taken and land forsaken
She takes the fire and damns the night
A witch to become and has tears for none
Once Upon the Blackest Night
There in waiting twisted tight
Lighting snaps and thunder claps
Hissing from plutonian shadows back arched tight an old black cat
Stirred the raven croaks and midnight's chill
Blinding madness a cobweb strewn and empty attic
Flying before a burning moon the Autumn still and
nightmare doom stealing fates upon her broom
This you see your sealed doom
The atmosphere in darkness veils
Beneath her wretched creatures crawling
Blackest be her empty heart
Crazy cackling in madness spinning
Boiling clouds come crashing down
The cold hard ground is where she's found
Once Upon the Blackest Night
There in waiting twisted tight
Lighting snaps and thunder claps
Hissing from plutonian shadows back arched tight an old black cat
Stirred the raven croaks and midnight's chill
Blinding madness a cobweb strewn and empty attic
